Pleased all the way around. The watch is replacing a Seiko quartz which I bought in the '80s which got lifted from me. I expect this watch to provide as good, if not better service since this one does not use batteries. I looked for a long time for a reasonally priced, nice looking watch that is very durable and tried many differant styles but was unhappy with each--I think I'll stick with the Stuhrling. The service from Amazon was excellent, I received it sooner than I expected. Next, opening the package was pure pleasure -- I found the automatic to be impressively packaged all around. When I opened the watch box I could see why the package was so nice -- the automatic was even more beautiful with its diamond refletive face and gold finish. The watch was running and I could see the mechanics working through the skeletal desgn and its amazing how watch makers can design such small mechanics and have them work correctly. The calfskin band is very soft and feels nice on the wrist in fact the whole watch feels very good to wear. So far after a few days of wearing it I have not noticed any need to reset the time after setting it for the first time and have had no need to wind it. I would say for the price--make a choice on style and buy one or two or three (they would make a great gift!!). I'd say at this point Stuhrling won me as a customer!! Tough to do!!
