I've had this watch for over a year already and it's still ticking. I haven't had to crank it up for some time. It's a heavy watch so you may want to get it fitted first. Had to take a couple of links off but now it's a charm. I recommend taking it in to a jeweler for link removal since it's a hard process and a lot of force needed to take links off. It's thick too for an automatic, it goes well with suits or causal clothes. The latch in the back hasn't given me any problems. I've owned a few nice watches but this is comparable to most Citizen watches this is a nice relax from price cautious buyer's. Got one for my dad as well. ***Update 12/17/2012*** Today would mark my second year owning this watch. I've taken good care of it over the years and it's still ticking.
